| Typhoon Quedan Update PAGASA Posted: 29 Sep 2013 05:44 AM PDT Typhoon Quedan Update PAGASA The tropical depression is now a Typhoon, the Typhoon called Quedan is now heading 930 km Northeast of Guiuan, Eastern Samar this Monday afternoon and Expected to be outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) 1090 km Northeast of Guiuan, Eastern Samar. So far it is now in 900 km East of Guiuan, Eastern Samar with a maximum winds of 45 kph near the center, the typhoon is not expected to landfall and will be out of the Philippine area of responsibility on Tuesday, and will not affect directly to the Philippines. The Typhoon Quedan is estimated rainfall amount is from 5 – 7.5 mm per within the 300 km diameter of the Tropical Depression. Stay tuned for more updates on the Typhoon Quedan. |
