| Bagyong Gorio – June 29, 2013 UPDATE Posted: 28 Jun 2013 05:21 PM PDT Bagyong Gorio – June 29, 2013 UPDATEAs of 4:00 a.m the Bagyong Gorio is at 100 km East of Borongan City, and heading northwest of 15 kph, and it will be at the vicinity of Legaspi City on Sunday, and expected to be out of the country on Tuesday afternoon or Wednesday. This is the seventh Typhoon to hit the Philippines this year…the Philippines always experience at least 15 to 20 Typhoons every year. The public are warned to be cautious of floods and landslide, the low lying coastal areas will also experience strong waves, the fishermen are advised not to go at sea, high waves and strong winds are expected.
Typhoon signals are already issued in the following provinces Signal number 2 Camarines Sur Signal number 1 Camarines Norte, Quezon, Polillo Island, Marinduque, Oriental Mindoro, Romblon, Batangas, Laguna, Cavite, Rizal, Bulacan, Metro Manila, Aklan, Capiz Pagasa will issue another Typhoon bulletin around 5:00 p.m this afternoon, please visit the PAGASA website or this page for more updates on the status of Bagyong Gorio. |
