Class Suspension Metro Manila November 7-8, 2013

The super Typhoon Yolanda is fast approaching the Philippines and it is expected to hit the Samar first and central Visayas, with this several provinces in the Visayas area already suspended their classes for November 7 and November 8, 2013.

Manila is expected to experience heavy rains due to the radius of Typhoon Yolanda (around 60 kms) and might even have a Typhoon signal maybe 1 or 2, with this the students are already asking is there a class suspension tomorrow November 7 and also on Friday November 8, 2013?

So far no announcement from the LGU, still waiting for confirmation and the weather updates from PAGASA. If the forecast of the storm track came true it is expected that there will be no classes in metro manila tomorrow.

The list of schools and universities that already announced the suspension of classes were:

Provinces

Province of Albay – classes in all levels
Province of Cebu – classes in all levels until November 8
Province of Aklan –all levesl ( not yet confirmed)

Universities

Aquinas University of Legazpi – opening of classes moved from November 6 to November 11

Bicol University – classes in all levels from afternoon of November 6 until further notice.
