Posted: 09 Oct 2013 05:34 AM PDT Bagyong Santi PAGASA UPDATE As expected there is another Tropical depression that entered the Philippine Area of responsibility, the Bagyong Santi, the Tropical Depression is now at 560 km East of Virac, Catanduaness and expected to make a landfall on Saturday, the Bayong Santi is slowly moving towards Luzon, the Tropical depression do have a maximum sustained winds of 55 kph near the center and moving west northwest at 9 kph. On Thursday morning it will be 370 km East Northeast of Virac, Catanduanes and 400 km East of Infanta, Quezon. So far the Bagyong Santi will not affect the Philippines but still PAGASA warned the public to be vigilant and tuned in to the next PAGASA weather bulletin. So far the Tropical depression Santi estimated rainfall amount is from 5.0 – 30.0 mm per hour. |
