Suspension of Classes July 22, 2013: PNOY SONA 2013

Public Private Schools in Quezon City Elementary and Highschool suspended the class on July 22, 2013, this is due to the State of the Nation address that will be held in Batasang Pambansa that is located in Batasan Road, Batasan Hills, Quezon City. No words on the tertiary level if they will suspend the classes or not, this is the sole discretion of the administration of the schools… we will post some details on this on Monday July 22, 2013

The City government of Quezon City declared that there are no classes on Monday because of the expected protest, the busy streets that will happen on monday especially near the Batasang Pambansa, this move is due to safety this is to protect the kids from untoward incident that may happen due to SONA 2013. The police are also in full alert on Monday, to secure the Batasang Pambansa as well as the neighboring streets and buildings, even though that there are news that protest rally on Monday during state of the nation address is not allowed, still it is expected that hundreds of protesters will be there to shout their grievances and their dislike on President Noynoy's Presidency.
