| DOLE Emergency Employment Program for Habagat Victim Posted: 25 Aug 2013 04:51 AM PDT DOLE Emergency Employment Program for Habagat VictimDOLE (Department of Labor and Employment) will conduct a program (Emergency Employment Program for Habagat victim). The Employment program is for NCR,CALABARZON, REGION 3 and the affected of HABAGAT and Bagyong Maring, this is to help the public displaced by the floods due to southwest monsoon, the work will last 5-10 days with a minimum payment based on the minimum rate. "Based on the information gathered by our regional offices in the NCR and Regions 3 and 4-A, there are many workers who were severely affected by the floods. The DOLE, in cooperation with Public Employment Service Offices the concerned local government units, will conduct job fairs in selected areas to facilitate the employment search of jobseekers. | UPDATE: Bagyong Nando – PAGASA Weather Report Posted: 25 Aug 2013 04:25 AM PDT UPDATE: Bagyong Nando – PAGASA Weather ReportBagyong Maring leave behind devastation and death in Luzon with estimated fatality of 18, with an international name Trami, it is now creating havoc in Taiwan and China.After Bagyong Maring here comes another Typhoon, the Bagyong Nando, the Bagyong Nando is now 290 km east of Borongan City and it is expected that it will be 270 km East of Virac, Catanduanes and 340 km East of Caisguran Aurora with a maximum sustained winds of 45 kph near the center. Bagyong Nando according to PAGASA will not land fall and will be 310 km Northeast of Aparri Cagayan on Wednesday, the Bagyong Nando is expected to affect the Habagat and will bring rains and thunderstorms in Luzon and Eastern Visayas. Bagyong Nando will bring an estimated rainfall amount is from 5 – 15 mm per hour (moderate – heavy) within the 300 km diameter of the Tropical Depression.
