The Chinese Taipei made a very good game play at fourth quarter with several three points shot, this is the reason why Philippines wasn't able to beat Chinese Taipei. And tonight Philippines will compete for another game, Philippines vs Japan, the game will be played in Mall of Asia in Pasay City, the game will start around 8:30 P.M. | Posted: 05 Aug 2013 05:06 AM PDT Typhoon Kiko PAGASA UPDATE The LPA is now a full blown Typhoon, the new Typhoon is called Kiko, the Typhoon location is now at 280 km northwest of Puerto Princesa City it has a maximum winds of 55 kph near the center and it is moving west northwest at 15 kph. The typhoon is expected to be 680 km West of Calapan, Oriental Mindoro or maybe it will be outside the Philippine area of responsibility. The Typhoon Kiko is estimated rainfall amount is from 5 – 15 mm per hour , no storm warning signal was given by the PAGASA,, but still the public is warned for a possible flash flood and heavy rain fall.

| UPCAT Exam Results 2013 – Record Breaking number of Examinees Posted: 04 Aug 2013 09:43 PM PDT UPCAT Exam Results 2013 – Record Breaking number of Examinees The University of the Philippines, just recently held the UP College Admission test, according to the UPCAT administrators it was a record breaking exam as more than 80,000 took the admission test only 12,000 will be accepted. The UPCAT consists of 4 subtests: Language Proficiency, Science, Mathematics and Reading Comprehension the exam lasted four hours and 20 minutes the UPCAT this year is different compared to previous UPCAT's as this is the first time that the section for essay has been removed. The exam was given in 81 test centers around the country, if you pass the examination, the if you are lucky and you will be in the top 50, the Oblation Scholarship is awarded to the 50 highest-scoring UPCAT passers and exempts them from paying nearly all the school fees. Some degree programs are offered in only one campus (e.g., BS Nursing, BA Filipino) while others are offered in two or more campuses. | Suspension of Classes August 5, 2013 Posted: 04 Aug 2013 03:15 PM PDT Suspension of Classes August 5, 2013The LPA is causing heavy rains and flooding across the MIMAROPA and Visayas area, the low pressure area as of 4:00 p.m was estimated at 180 km West of Dumaguete City, light to heavy rains will be experience in the Visayas area, and Palawan, Metro Manila , Calabarzon and Bicol Region will also experience cloudy skies and light to moderate rainshowers.
The public are advice to be cautious and vigilant for a possible flooding and flashfloods, some classes in the Visayas area is suspended due to flooding and heavy rains. The low pressure area is expected to be a full blown typhoon after 24 hours, the typhoon will be called Typhoon Kiko, according to PAGASA at least 3 to 4 more Typhoon will be experience this August alone.
