A CNN Money report said that sold copies of Nate Silver’s book increased by 850% at Amazon.com in a span of 24 hours after Election Day. Reports say that Silver‘s book is now the “second best selling book” at the Amazon website. Silver earlier predicted correctly the 49 states called by the networks on Election Day. He was also correct in predicting the slight edge of US President Obama in Florida. Silver projected that there is a 90 percent chance that Obama will win a second term from the outcome of the electoral college votes. | Mile-Wide Asteroid Photographed By NASA (Photo) Posted: 07 Nov 2012 11:42 PM PST A mile-wide asteroid has been photographed by a team of NASA scientists as it moves silently millions of miles from Earth, international news sites reported on Tuesday, November 6, 2012. According to reports, NASA‘s Deep Space Network antenna in Goldstone, California was used by astronomers in NASA‘s Jet Propulsion Laboratory to capture three new radar images of asteroid 2007 PA8 from October 28 to 30, as shown below.  The mile-wide asteroid, Asteroid 2007 PA8 Credit: NASA / JPL “The radar images of asteroid 2007 PA8 indicate that it is an elongated, irregularly shaped object approximately one mile (1.6 km) wide, with ridges and perhaps craters. The data also indicate that 2007 PA8 rotates very slowly, roughly once every three to four days.” NASA‘s Jet Propulsion Laboratory officials in Pasadena, California, wrote in the image description. As of Monday, November 5, the asteroid was said to be 4 million miles away from our planet, about 17 times the distance between the Earth and moon. Astronomers with the Lincoln Near Earth Asteroid Research project at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology‘s Lincoln Laboratory discovered the asteroid in 2007, reports said. |

The so-called ‘J.Lo hotel maid’ controversy reportedly happened during her Dance Again World Tour stop in Germany. And I am so incredibly big fan, so I took all my courage and rang the bell to get just an autograph. But I was politely rejected by her two assistants.” Pray Dodaj, 43, a hotel maid, was quoted in the report, as translated to English via Google Translate. “One day I called the cleaning company that employed me at the hotel. They said that Jennifer Lopez would have complained. I was fired over the phone! Because an autograph! ” Dodaj added, with hotel director Cyrus Heydarian telling BILD that “she has acted against her contract and disturbed the privacy of their guests.” Meanwhile, the report have reached to J.Lo, who immediately denied that she was involved in the termination of the said hotel maid, stressing out that she did not even know her; and posted her reaction on her official Twitter account. “C’mon thought you knew me better than this. Reports say that it will take an individual about four to five seconds ride from the top of the slide into the pool below. The estimated speed of plunging down the water slide is about 65 miles per hour. Those who took the ride were asked to position themselves on their back with arms and legs crossed. | Sears Black Friday 2012: Sears offers 1,000 Black Friday Doorbusters, invites early holiday shoppers Posted: 07 Nov 2012 08:38 PM PST Sears has released their Black Friday 2012 ad, along with their invitation to early holiday shoppers, and is offering over a thousand Black Friday Doorbusters. Customers can start shopping even before Thanksgiving Day, which will be on Thursday, November 22, 2012. As noted at BFADS.net on Wednesday, November 7, the scanned 28-page Sears Thanksgiving Day 2012 Doorbusters ad listing and the 36-page Sears Black Friday 2012 ad are now available on their website, with the Thanksgiving Day ad being the first-wave of the Black Friday sales that will start on Thanksgiving Day at 8 p.m. ET. According to the report, the first 19 pages of the Sears Black Friday 2012 ad are for the second-wave of Black Friday sales that will start on Black Friday morning at 3 a.m. ET, while the remaining pages are for Sears Weekend-long sale that will start on Thanksgiving Day and and will end on Sunday, November 25. “Hey, early bird! Members can buy some of our hottest doorbusters from November 18 at 5pm through November 19 at 11:59pm CST.
