The Russian Proton rocket fails during its launch at the Baikonur Cosmodrome on Saturday, December 8, 2012, according to a report by the International Launch Services (ILS) and Russia's Roscosmos space agency.

Reports say that the Breeze-M upper stage failed to lift the Russian satellite, Yamal 402, to a planned orbit when it was launched after sunset.

It was reportedly the third failed launch of the Russian Proton heavy-lift rocket over a period of 16 months.

The failed launch has left the Gazprom Space Systems' Yamal 402 telecommunications satellite into a very-low orbit.

Breeze-M was expected to complete its ascent in nine hours and 15 minutes before releasing the 9,839-pound satellite into the planned “elliptical orbit ranging from 4,642 miles at perigee to 22,181 miles at apogee and inclined 9 degrees to the equator.” Yamal 402 will then maneuver itself into a circular geosynchronous orbit 22,300 miles up and lowering inclination to match the Earth’s rotation. It would have begin a 15-year service life.

However, the rocket propulsion lasted for only nine minutes, four minutes short of expected burn.

A Russian State Commission is set to investigate the failed launch. ILS is reportedly making its own Failure Review Oversight Board to review the commission’s final report and make a corrective action plan.

Christine Duran, Christina Huerta and Isabel Robles received the insulting remarks during their visit at the Chilly D’s Sports Lounge of the Cameo Club Cas&no in Stockton, California.

The three diners were reportedly surprised and felt insulted when they got their check and saw “fat girls” written on their bill.

In an interview with News 10, Duran said that she “got the bill, and I was like, why does the receipt say, ‘fat girls?’”

A restaurant employee named “Jeff,” whose name appears on the receipt, may have been the one who encoded “fat girls” into the system as part of tracking their bill.

The three girls talked to the restaurant manager about the “fat girls” check.

The manager apologized and initially offered 25 percent discount and later 50 percent, but the three diners rejected the offers.

Chilly D’s Restaurant posted a public apology on Saturday at their Facebook page.

Below is the complete Chilly D’s apology.

This is a message for the girls that had a very bad experience at our bar a few nights ago and for anyone that was negatively affected by this. What happened to those girls at our bar was unacceptable and is in no way a reflection of how we run our business. We are just as appalled at what happened to these ladies and this employee has been immediately terminated. We are a family run business and strive to make our customers feel welcomed and appreciated. My family is embarrassed and we are holding a full staff meeting to re-train all of our remaining employees so that this never happens again. In no manner do we want to be associated with this type of behavior and it is devastating that one persons behavior has reflected on our family’s establishment. My hope is, that we can rectify the situation by taking immediate action with this employee and by extending our most sincere apologies to these ladies and anyone that has been affected by this situation. I completely understand why they were hurt by what was written on their receipt and that type of treatment isn’t tolerated. Also there will be no tolerance in the future, guaranteed. Everyone is welcome in our establishment, my family built this business so that the community of Stockton would have a safe and fun place to hang out and come together. My hope is to heal our newly tarnished reputation so that everyone feels safe and welcome again. And if these ladies would like to meet with my family and I, so that we can personally apologize, we would really like to do that, because we do not want anyone to have an experience like this.
